CONGRATULATIONS TO SHERMAINE ANG FOR HER ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PRESTIGIOUS AMERICAN BALLET THEATER YOUNG DANCER WORKSHOP IN SAN JOSE CALIFORNIA THIS JUNE 2013.
Shermaine did a video audition in Feb 2013 for American Ballet Theater Summer Intensives. She was accepted and will attend ABT at Ballet San Jose for two weeks. The program is under the direction of ABT artistic director Franco De Vita and staffed with other ABT faculty.
Shermaine was chosen to participate in American Ballet Theatre’s 2013 Young Dancer Summer Workshop. ABT’s intensive for young dancers will be held in San Jose June 2013. Each year, approximately 3,000 students audition for ABT’s Summer Intensives; with only a select few chosen. ABT’s summer training audition tour takes place in major cities throughout the United States. Shermaine is currently in Grade 5 and also doing her RAD Majors Intermediate Foundation this April 2013.
